- 16 Aug 1942, the tailwheel of his Spitfire Vb AR558 broke off, this time after hitting an unmarked obstruction

- 19 Aug 1942, he failed to shut down the starboard engine of his Albermarle P1435 correctly, and fire broke out in the carburettor intake

- 8 Apr 1943, a landing accident in Wellington XI MP625 after his vision was obscured by dust and the aircraft swung into trees.
